El conocimiento del patrimonio cultural ha evolucionado a través del tiempo, sobre todo por el crecimiento acelerado de su reconocimiento causado, en parte, por la inclusión de las nuevas categorías de patrimonio. Para este trabajo de grado, se estudiará la categoría Patrimonio cultural lnmaterial de la Humanidad: Fiestas de San Francisco de Asís de Quibdó, para posteriormente, plantear estrategias de difusión que buscarán garantizar los derechos de autoría colectiva de los grupos étnicos; estimular la protección y fomentar en la población y en los asistentes el respeto y el interés por sus tradiciones, como elementos de identidad de la nación, del pluralismo, la convivencia intercultural, expresiones libres del pensamiento y creatividad colectiva. El turismo, también se podrá generar a través de la difusión, teniendo en cuenta que, el patrimonio cultural constituye uno de los recursos básicos para construir un destino y se debe valorar, conservar y mantener, garantizando el disfrute de la población residente y de los turistas que pernoctan en el territorio chocoano. Nowadays, cultural heritage faces new challenges and perspectives in the face of management and conservation. Knowledge of cultural heritage has evolved over time, especially by the accelerated growth of his recognition caused, in part, by the inclusion of new categories of heritage. For this degree work, we will study the category Intangible Cultural heritage of Humanity: Fiestas de San Francisco de asis de Quibdo, and then, to raise strategies of diffusion that will seek to guarantee the rights of collective authorship of the ethnic groups; to stimulate the protection and to foment in the population and the attendees the respect and the interest for their traditions, as elements of identity of the nation, of the pluralism, the intercultural coexistence, free expressions of the thought and collective creativity. Tourism, can also be generated through diffusion, considering that cultural heritage constitutes one of the basic resources to construct a destination and must be valued, preserved and maintained, ensuring the enjoyment of the resident population and tourists overnight in the Choco territory.
