national context, in tum responding to regulations and national and intemational policies, within the framework of the relevance of quality in education, which is one of the pillars of educational quality, and must be taken into account when reviewing these important documents.
The present investigation gives an account of the study carried out around the analysis of the transition and first syllabus of the LE.O León XIII, located in Soacha, bearing in mind specific criteria of relevance, which meet the guidelines and quality policies of the Ministry ofNational Education, and they become important references for the training of students. The above with a view to providing analysis that allows reformulating and improving these valuable documents for academic management in the educational institution.
El plan de estudios se constituye en un componente importante del currículo y una herramienta fundamental para el quehacer docente, que debe guardar coherencia con el Proyecto Educativo Institucional (PEI) y ser revisado y analizado constantemente, con el fin de lograr su actualización, atendiendo a las necesidades de los estudiantes y del contexto local y nacional, respondiendo a su vez a la normatividad y a las políticas nacionales e internacionales, en el marco de la pertinencia de la calidad en educación, que es uno de los pilares de la calidad educativa, y debe ser tenida en cuenta en el momento de revisar estos importantes documentos.
La presente investigación da cuenta del estudio realizado en tomo al análisis del plan de estudios de transición y primero de la I.E.O León XIII, en el municipio de Soacha, teniendo presentes criterios puntuales de la pertinencia, que atienden a los lineamientos y políticas de calidad del Ministerio de Educación Nacional, y que se convierten en referentes importantes para la formación de los estudiantes. Lo anterior con miras a aportar análisis que permitan reformular y mejorar estos valiosos documentos para la gestión académica en la institución educativa.
