| Summary: | The main objective of this research is to analyze the titling process of public vacant lots illegally occupied with social interest housing in Colombia. The above, through an analytical study in which it was intended to approximate the understanding of the doctrinal development of the theory of public goods in relation to vacant property; subsequently, the regulations applicable to the process of titling of vacant public assets illegally occupied with social interest housing were identified and finally, the systematization of the process of titling of wastelands was carried out in the context of the Colombian Social Status of Law.
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal realizar un análisis del proceso de titulación de predios públicos baldíos ocupados ilegalmente con viviendas de interés social en Colombia. Lo anterior, mediante un estudio analítico en el que se pretendió aproximarse a la comprensión del desarrollo doctrinal de la teoría de los bienes públicos en relación con los bienes baldíos; posteriormente, se identificó la normatividad aplicable al proceso de titulación de los bienes públicos baldíos ocupados ilegalmente con viviendas de interés social y finalmente se llevó a cabo la sistematización del proceso de titulación de baldíos en el contexto del Estado Social de Derecho colombiano.
