The research entitled "Teaching and Learning the alphabetic code: educational project to promote the processes of initial literacy in the mother tongue in the first grade students of Elementary Basic, of School St. Vincent de Paúl in the municipality of Genova (Quindío)" , this is part of the research of Teaching mother tongue and literature, of the Master of Science in Education from the University of xiii Quindío; this research was designed in order to promote the teaching and learning of early reading and writing students in first grade of elementary school. The proposal has as theoretical foundations the postulates of Emilia Ferreiro and Ana Teberosky, Yetta Goodman and Isabel Solé, all from the perspective of meaningful learning and social constructivism. According with the purpose, the theoretical foundations and the needs identified educational institution subject of this investigation: What educational project of early literacy with relevance in long term will allow further processes of teaching and learning of reading and writing in first grade basic of School St. Vicente de Paul in the municipality of Génova (Quindío) ?. The methodology that guides the whole research process is action research in the classroom, part of the focus of Lauren Stenhouse, vision that promotes educational research involving teachers and students in their learning processes.
La investigación titulada Enseñanza y aprendizaje del código alfabético: proyecto didáctico para favorecer los procesos de alfabetización inicial en lengua materna en los estudiantes de grado Primero de Básica Primaria, de la Institución Educativa San Vicente de Paúl del municipio de Génova (Quindío), se inscribe en la línea de investigación de Didáctica de la lengua materna y la literatura, de la Maestría en Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad del Quindío. Este trabajo de investigación se concibió, con el fin de favorecer los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje de la lectura y la escritura iniciales de los estudiantes de grado Primero de Básica Primaria. La propuesta tiene como fundamentos teóricos los postulados de Emilia Ferreiro y Ana Teberosky, Yetta Goodman e Isabel Solé, todo desde el enfoque del aprendizaje significativo y del constructivismo social. En consonancia con el propósito, los fundamentos teóricos y las necesidades observadas en la Institución Educativa sujeto de esta investigación, surge entonces la pregunta de investigación: ¿Qué proyecto didáctico de alfabetización inicial y que tenga relevancia a largo plazo, permitirá favorecer los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje de la lectura y la escritura de los niños de grado Primero de Básica Primaria de la Institución Educativa San Vicente de Paúl del municipio de Génova (Quindío)? Respecto de la metodología que orienta todo el proceso se optó por la investigación−acción en el aula, enmarcada en el enfoque de Lawrence Stenhouse, visión que favorece la investigación educativa y que involucra a maestros y estudiantes en sus procesos de aprendizaje.
