| Summary: | Hypsiboas lanciformis, rana del grupo albopunctatus, se distribuye en Bolivia, Brasil, Perú, Colombia y Venezuela. Se estudió la abundancia, disposición espacial y se obtuvieron datos sobre la historia natural de una población localizada en las áreas pertenecientes al Complejo Uribante Caparo, CORPOELEC, en el estado Táchira, al suroeste de los Andes de Venezuela (N 199070; E 866403), monitoreándola a través de transectos visuales y auditivos. La abundancia disminuye con el paso de la sequía y presenta disposición espacial agregada. La especie vocaliza en bordes de bosque secundario con zonas intervenidas, dispuesta desde nivel del suelo a 3m en el dosel. Comparte hábitat con los hílidos Hypsiboas pugnax y Scinax manriquei. Se pudo observar ectoparásitos y endoparásitos que podrían afectar su sobrevivencia.
Hypsiboas lanciformis , a frog of the albopunctatus group, is distributed in Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Colombia and Venezuela. The abundance and spatial disposition were studied and data on the natural history of a population located in the areas belonging to the Uribante Caparo Complex, CORPOELEC, in the state of Táchira, southwest of the Andes of Venezuela (N 199070; E 866403), was obtained. monitoring it through visual and auditory transects. Abundance decreases with the passage of drought and presents an aggregate spatial arrangement. The species vocalizes on the edges of secondary forest with intervened areas, arranged from ground level to 3m in the canopy. It shares a habitat with the hylids Hypsiboas pugnax and Scinax manriquei . Ectoparasites and endoparasites could be observed that could affect their survival.
