Description
Summary:Trichomyia quimbaya sp. nov. is described and illustrated from a male specimen collected with a CDC light trap in the coffee region of the Cordillera Central of Colombia. It can be easily distinguished from others species of Trichomyia by the pair of strong digitiform prolongations of the gonocoxite, both of which end in large spines, with apex directed inwards.
