| Summary: | Este trabajo presenta los resultados del estudio del aporte académico que realiza la Universidad de Santander, Colombia (UDES) a sus estudiantes en las competencias genéricas de Razonamiento Cuantitativo y Lectura Crítica de las pruebas Saber Pro 2018 al egresar de la institución con relación a los resultados en el Saber 11 al ingresar.
Se realizó la estandarización de los puntajes en ambas pruebas con la finalidad de facilitar la interpretación de los resultados. La intención fue relacionar las variables AAMAT y AALECT con un conjunto de variables consideradas explicativas de las mismas como lo fueron: Género, Tipo de Colegio, Zona, Proyecto, Graduado, Tipo Estudiante, Programa, y Estrato, que en función de la literatura correspondiente se consideraron podían tener efecto sobre el AA. No obstante, se pudo determinar, que, para la muestra estudiada en esta investigación, no se encontró evidencia estadística de diferencia significativa entre las variables AAMAT y AALECT, y las variables explicativas; la única diferencia significativa resultó entre las variables AALECT y el Programa de Estudio, pero no mostró importancia significativa en los análisis.

Los resultados del ACC mostraron una correlación significativa entre las variables AAMAT y AALECT respecto a las variables edad y promedio, pero muy baja, del conjunto de entrada la variable con mayor correlación fue AAMAT, en tanto, del conjunto de salida la mayor correlación se encontró en la variable edad, esto permite determinar que el AA que hace la UDES se centra en el campo cuantitativo.
This paper presents the results of the study of the academic contribution that the University of Santander, Colombia (UDES) makes to its students in the generic competencies of Quantitative Reasoning and Critical Reading of the Saber Pro 2018 tests upon leaving the institution in relation to the results in Saber 11 upon entering.
The variables of interest were standardized in order to facilitate the interpretation of the results. The intention was relate the variables AAMAT and AALECT with a set of variables considers explanatories of the same like were: Gender, Type of School, Distric, Thesis, Graduated, Type of Student, Degree, and Social Stratum, that base on researchs previous were thought about to the relating to the AA. All the same, it could stablish, that, the sample studied in this research, it did not find statistical evidence of difference significant between variables AAMAT and AALECT, and the variables explanatories; the only difference significant turn out to be variables AALECT and the Degree, but it did not show statistical significant in the analysis.
The results of the ACC showed a significant correlation between the variables AAMAT and AALECT, with respect to the variables Age and Average, but very low from the input set the variable with the highest correlation was AAMAT, while from the output set the highest correlation was found in the Age variable, this makes it possible to determine that the AA carried out by the UDES is focused on the quantitative field.
